Frequently Asked Questions
Can you install a new interior door?
Yes. We install pre-hung and slab interior doors, including trimming them to fit and adding hinges and hardware.
How much do you charge?
Our rate is $100 per hour, with a 2-hour minimum on every job. We'll give you an estimate over the phone before booking.
Can you fix a drafty door?
Yes. Most drafts are solved by replacing worn weatherstripping and adding a door sweep at the bottom.
Doors That Work Like New
A door that sticks, a lock that won't catch or a gap that lets in a draft is a small annoyance you notice every day. Left alone, it gets worse: frames wear, heating bills rise and a loose lock becomes a security problem. The Man on Call repairs and adjusts doors so they open, close and lock the way they should.
What our door service covers
We find out why the door isn't working, then adjust, repair or replace the part that's causing it. That means planing and rehanging doors, replacing hinges, locks and handles, putting closet doors back on track, and installing new interior doors. We also renew weatherstripping and door sweeps to stop drafts. We install doors and hardware you've already bought.
