Do I need to buy the paint?
You can choose and buy the paint yourself, or tell us the colour and finish and we'll pick it up for you.
How much do you charge?
Our rate is $100 per hour, with a 2-hour minimum on every job. We'll give you an estimate over the phone before booking.
Is paint included in the price?
Paint and materials are charged separately at cost. You can also buy the paint yourself and we'll apply it.
Do you fix holes and cracks before painting?
Yes. Filling, sanding and priming small holes and cracks is part of our prep.
Do you move furniture before painting?
Yes. We move furniture away from the walls, cover everything with drop sheets, and put it back when we're done.

Fresh paint is the fastest way to change how a room feels, but doing it yourself means moving furniture, taping every edge and living with the mess for days. Rushed prep shows up later as drips, uneven lines and patches that still show through. The Man on Call handles the whole job, from prep to cleanup, so you get a smooth, even finish without giving up your weekend.
What our painting service covers
We start with the prep that makes paint last: filling holes and cracks, sanding, and taping edges. We move furniture away from the walls and cover floors and belongings with drop sheets. Then we prime where needed and apply two coats for full, even coverage. When we're done, we remove the tape, put the room back and take the mess with us. We paint interior spaces. We don't take on exterior house painting or spray finishing for cabinets.
